Overview

Hypemaker EMEA creatively directed a playful film starring Stan Smith himself, shot on location in his home state of Florida, for adidas. In a characteristically tongue-in-cheek manner, the tennis legend touches on his career, legacy and what it’s like being better known for your contributions to footwear rather than tennis. Combining the heritage sneaker with an equally iconic silhouette — such as the bell toe of the Superstar and the classic Stan Smith colorway — the film aims to mark a new chapter in the legacies of each design.
